Some guests like to start with destination, others with boat type. A third group already knows exactly which boat brands they like – maybe from previous charters, maybe because they are thinking about buying a yacht and want to test a model first. This page is for that third group.
Here you can search the Croatian charter fleet by brand: Lagoon, Fountaine Pajot, Bali, Bavaria, Beneteau, Hanse, Jeanneau, Dufour, Elan and more. The tool does not change the boats themselves – it simply filters our wider fleet so you see only yachts from the shipyards you care about.
At the top of this page you will find a search form where you can select one or several brands and then combine that choice with dates, starting base and boat type. The results come from the same live system as our main boat search, just pre-filtered by brand name.
If you already know that you love Lagoon catamarans or Bavaria cruisers, this is a quick way to see what is actually available in Croatia for your week. If you are still deciding between two or three shipyards, the brand filter lets you compare similar sizes and layouts across them.
Searching by brand is most useful in two situations. The first is when you have chartered before and want something familiar – maybe you sailed a Lagoon 42 or Bavaria 46 and simply want a similar experience with a slightly newer hull. The second is when you are thinking about buying a yacht and would like to test specific models in real conditions before making a big decision.
If this is your very first charter in Croatia, it is usually better to focus on boat type, size and layout first. Start with the main Yacht Charter Croatia overview and the yacht-type pages for catamarans, sailboats and motor yachts. Once you know whether you prefer a cat, monohull or motor yacht, brand becomes a more helpful filter.
Croatia has one of the densest catamaran fleets in the world, and most of it is built by a small group of shipyards. In our brand search, you will see familiar names like Lagoon, Fountaine Pajot and Bali at the top of the list, along with Nautitech and a few other builders.
Lagoon is the most widespread catamaran brand in Croatian charter. Models like the Lagoon 40, 42, 46 and 50 are common in marinas from Split to Dubrovnik. They are known for comfortable interiors, strong charter support and layouts that work well for both families and mixed crews. If you enjoyed a Lagoon before, it is easy to find a similar boat for your next trip.
Fountaine Pajot catamarans have a slightly different feel – lighter interiors, efficient hulls and a strong focus on living space. Popular models include the Lucia 40, Isla 40, Astrea 42 and Saona 47. Many guests like the balance between performance and comfort on these boats.
Bali catamarans stand out for their solid foredecks and open-plan saloons with large forward doors. They offer a very social, “villa on the water” style layout that some crews love. In the brand search you can also include Nautitech, Leopard and a few smaller producers when available.
For classic sailing yachts, the Croatian charter fleet is dominated by familiar European brands. When you filter by brand in the search, you will see long lists of Bavaria, Beneteau, Jeanneau, Hanse, Dufour and Elan models in different lengths and cabin layouts.
Bavaria and Beneteau supply a large share of the monohull charter market. Their cruiser ranges offer reliable, comfortable boats that work well for families and mixed crews. In the search results, look at build year and layout as much as boat length – a well-kept 2018 Bavaria can be a better choice than a tired 2012 of similar size.
Hanse, Jeanneau, Dufour and Elan often appeal to guests who value sailing performance or specific interior styles. Hanse interiors feel clean and modern, Jeanneau and Dufour models are balanced all-rounders, while Elan yachts – coming from the Adriatic region – often deliver a mix of performance and practicality. Use the brand filter to focus on your favourite builders, then compare models in the 35–55 foot range depending on your crew.
On the motor side, Croatian charter fleets include boats from brands such as Azimut, Prestige, Princess, Fairline, Sealine, Galeon and others, alongside powered versions of catamarans by Lagoon, Fountaine Pajot and Leopard. Availability varies more than for sailboats, but the brand filter still helps you track down familiar designs.
Because motor yachts and power catamarans are often crewed, it is worth remembering that the experience depends as much on the crew as on the badge on the stern. When you find a brand and size that looks right in the search, we can then help you assess crew profiles and real-life feedback before you decide.
Using the brand filter is simple. Start by selecting Croatia as the destination and your preferred dates, then choose boat type if you already know it. Next, open the brand dropdown and tick one or more shipyards. The search will only show boats that match your dates and the brands you have chosen.
If you are comparing Lagoon vs Fountaine Pajot, or Bavaria vs Hanse, you can tick both brands at once and then narrow things down by length, cabin count and base. The results will update instantly, so you can see how many real options exist for each combination.
Once you have filtered by brand, pay attention to the model numbers and build years. Within the Lagoon family, for example, a Lagoon 42 and Lagoon 46 feel quite different on board, and a 2020 hull will usually have a cleaner, fresher interior than a 2014 – even if layout stays similar.
The same is true for monohulls: a Bavaria 46 Cruiser and a Bavaria 45 may look close on paper but offer different cabin layouts and cockpit designs. If you are unsure how two models compare in real life, feel free to send us the links. We know how most of these boats feel when you actually live on them for a week.
Brand is a useful starting point, but it is not everything. Condition, maintenance and base support can easily outweigh the difference between two shipyards. A well-maintained older Lagoon can be a better choice than a neglected newer catamaran from a different builder, and the most important luxury on board is often a boat that simply works smoothly.
That is why we use the brand filter as a tool, not as a religion. Once you send us your shortlist, we cross-check each yacht against what we know about that fleet: service culture, technical team, how they handle issues during the season. If we see a red flag, we will tell you honestly and suggest either a different model from the same brand or a comparable yacht from another builder.
The brand page works best together with our main boat search. Many guests start with a broad look at all boats that match their dates and budget, then switch to brand search when they notice a pattern – for example “we always like the Lagoon layouts” or “these Bavaria models seem to fit our cabins.”
You can jump back and forth between the two tools as much as you like. In the background they use the same data, so anything you find in one can be double-checked and booked via the other. Our general Yacht Charter Croatia and Our Fleet pages add context along the way.
Not everyone enjoys filters and dropdowns. If you would rather describe your ideal boat in normal language – “newer Lagoon 42 or similar, four cabins and a skipper, Split area in June” – simply send us that in an email or enquiry form. We will run the brand-focused searches on your behalf and come back with a short, honest shortlist.
We are a Croatian-owned agency and we work across all major yacht types – from sailboats and catamarans to motor yachts, power cats, gulets and luxury yachts. That means we can tell you when a specific brand really makes sense – and when a different boat might secretly be a better match.
Yes. When you confirm a charter, your contract is for a specific boat, not just “a Lagoon 42 category” or “Bavaria 46 or similar”. If a fleet ever needs to propose a replacement due to technical issues, we help check that the alternative is truly equivalent or better.
Not every builder has boats in the Croatian charter market. If you do not see your preferred brand in the filter, send us a quick note with the name and we will double-check. Sometimes a single yacht from a smaller shipyard is available but not searchable by brand in the public tools.
All charter yachts we work with are properly registered and insured for commercial use, regardless of brand. Safety depends more on maintenance, equipment and responsible operation than on the logo on the mainsail. We focus on those factors when recommending boats.
Absolutely. For larger groups taking two or three yachts, it is common to have a mix of brands – for example one Lagoon and one Bali, or a Bavaria plus a Hanse. The key is to match performance and size so the small flotilla can travel together comfortably.
Sometimes yes, sometimes no. If a particular model solves a layout challenge for your crew or you already know you love that design, a small premium can be worth it. But if the only difference is a logo and a slightly shinier brochure, we will tell you honestly when a more modest but well-kept yacht offers better value.
