The easiest way to start your charter plan

Most good yacht charter plans in Croatia start with a simple conversation. You tell us who is coming, when you would like to travel and what kind of week you imagine. We respond with calm, skipper-level suggestions – not automated lists of random boats.

This contact page is where that conversation begins. Whether you are still choosing between catamarans and sailboats, or you already have a specific yacht in mind from our boat search, just tell us what you know so far. We will help fill in the gaps.

What to include in your message

You do not have to send a perfectly structured brief, but a few details help us reply with a useful first answer instead of more questions.

1. Dates and flexibility

If you know exact dates, share them. If you only know the month or school holiday week, that is fine too – tell us how flexible you can be. In Croatia, most charters run Saturday–Saturday, so even saying “late July, flexible one week earlier or later” is already very helpful.

2. Group size and ages

Let us know how many adults, teenagers and children will be on board. This helps us choose the right size of yacht and layout. If you are not sure whether one or two extra friends will join, mention that as well so we can suggest options that can stretch a little if needed.

3. Starting area and rough route ideas

If you have a favourite region – Split, Šibenik and Kornati, Zadar, or Southern Dalmatia around Dubrovnik – say so. If you have no preference, just tell us what kind of atmosphere you like (quiet national parks, a mix of towns and bays, more nightlife, etc.) and we will suggest starting bases that fit.

4. Budget and comfort level

You do not have to share an exact number, but a rough range helps us filter boats sensibly. If you want, you can check our full cost guide first to understand how charter price, fuel, marinas and extras usually work in Croatia.

5. Experience and service level

Tell us whether you prefer a bareboat charter, a skippered week or a fully crewed yacht. If you are not sure, describe how confident you feel around boats and what you want your week to feel like. We will suggest the right level of support.

How we respond to your enquiry

SkipperCity is a small, skipper-run agency, not a call centre. That means your message will be read by someone who understands both the booking system and what different routes actually feel like on the water.

Our typical reply includes:

A clear summary of your plan

We first reflect back what we understood: dates, group, preferred region, service level and budget. If something is unclear, we ask one or two short follow-up questions.

A shortlist of realistic options

We search across fleets for boats that fit what you told us, then send a focused shortlist – not fifty pages of similar yachts. Offers usually include a mix of catamarans, sailboats or motor yachts depending on your preferences.

Honest comments from a skipper’s point of view

Next to each option you will usually see short notes: which yacht feels more comfortable at anchor, which base is easier with children, which route each boat suits best. These comments come from real sailing experience and from the feedback our guests share on the reviews page.

Next steps and timing

We explain how long an option can be held for you, what deposit is needed if you decide to book and when future payments are due. You will also receive links to relevant pages such as booking terms and the cost guide so everything stays transparent.

Other ways to reach us

The main contact form on this page is usually the best place to start, because it keeps all your trip details in one thread. If you prefer, you can also reach us through the channels listed here.

Email

For longer messages, documents or follow-up questions, email works well. You can expect the same calm, detailed answers as through the form.

Phone or call-back

Sometimes a five-minute call is easier than ten emails. If you would like to talk by phone or video, mention your time zone and preferred time window in the form. We will suggest a slot that fits both sides.

During your charter week

When you are already on the water, your first line of contact is always your skipper or charter base. For route questions or bigger decisions, you can also reach out to us directly and we will coordinate with the base if needed.

If you are not ready to contact us yet

Some guests prefer to read more before writing. That is completely fine. If you are still exploring options, these pages are a good next step:

Learn who is behind SkipperCity

Our story and philosophy live on the About SkipperCity page. It explains why we work as a small skipper-run agency and how we choose boats and routes.

See what other guests say

Real feedback and stories from previous crews are collected on SkipperCity reviews. Many people decide to write only after reading how calmly we handle planning and unexpected changes.

Explore boats and destinations

If you enjoy browsing, start from Yacht Charter Croatia, check boat types like catamarans or motor yachts, or explore regions on the Croatia destinations page. You can always come back here once you have a clearer picture.

Skipper’s note – what we do with your message

When you press send, your enquiry does not disappear into an automated system. It lands with someone who spends a big part of their life on the sea and who understands how many small decisions shape a good charter week.

We do not share your contact details with random third parties and we do not bombard you with daily offers. We reply with a considered answer and then follow your pace – checking in once or twice if we do not hear from you, but never pushing.

If at any point you decide not to travel or to book elsewhere, a short note is always appreciated. It helps us close the loop and allows us to focus on guests who are still planning.

Next step – tell us your idea for Croatia

Whenever you are ready, use the form on this page to tell us your idea for a week (or more) in Croatia. It can be a fully formed plan or just a few lines about who you are and what kind of sea holiday you miss.

From there we move calmly: we look at options, share honest advice, answer all your questions and, if everything feels right, help you confirm the yacht and crew that will make your trip feel like the right decision.
