Sometimes the easiest way to start planning a yacht charter in Croatia is simply to see what is actually available. Our boat search tool connects directly to partner fleets all along the Adriatic – from Split and Trogir to Zadar and Dubrovnik – and shows you real boats with real prices for your chosen dates.
On this page we walk you through how to use the search, what each filter means and how to read the results so you can quickly move from “too many options” to a short, realistic shortlist. If at any point you prefer to talk to a human instead of a form, you can always skip the tool and send us a quick message – we will run the search for you.
Our fleet includes hundreds of catamarans, sailboats, motor yachts, power catamarans, gulets & motorsailers and luxury yachts. Instead of browsing separate lists for each category, the boat search lets you filter by type, size, cabins, base, price band and more in one place.
Think of it as a window into our wider Croatian yacht fleet. Once you know roughly what is out there for your dates, we can help you fine-tune the choice and check details you will not see in any database – condition, crew reputation, real photos, and the small things that make a week on board feel good.
The search form on this page sends your criteria into our booking system and returns matching boats in seconds. You can search with simple filters only – destination, dates, people – or use more advanced options when you want a very specific boat profile. Every result shows key facts at a glance, with more details a click away.
When you have a few favourites, you can either send us an enquiry directly from the results or copy the boat names into a message. Behind the scenes we still double-check availability, pricing and current special offers before sending you a final, personalised quote.
If this is your first charter or you are just playing with ideas, start with the basic search. Pick Croatia as the destination, choose your starting base or region, select dates and the number of people. The system will suggest suitable yachts across several types. You can then learn more about the differences by visiting the main Yacht Charter Croatia page and individual yacht-type pages.
When you know exactly what you want – for example, a 45–50 foot catamaran with four double cabins, air-conditioning and a watermaker – switch to advanced filters. There you can narrow the results by boat length, year, cabin layout and other technical criteria.
The first big decision is what kind of boat suits your group. The search tool lets you select one or more types at the same time, so you can compare prices and layouts directly.
Best for space, comfort and stability. Wide cockpits, generous cabins and easy access to the water make catamarans very popular with families and mixed groups. If you are new to chartering and unsure where to start, a mid-range catamaran is often the safest bet. Learn more on our dedicated catamaran page.
Perfect if you enjoy classic sailing and a more intimate feel. Sailboats usually cost less than catamarans of similar length and are more rewarding to sail actively. For couples, small families or crews who value the sailing itself as much as the bays, look at the options described on our Sailboats page.
Choose motor yachts or power cats if speed and comfort matter most. These boats cover longer distances in a day and help you link regions – for example Split to Dubrovnik – without feeling rushed. The search filters let you focus only on powered boats when you want quick movement and a modern look.
If you would rather have a full crew and hotel-style service than run the boat yourself, select gulets and luxury yachts in the filter. These options are better explained on the Gulets & Motorsailers and Luxury Yachts pages, but it is still useful to see concrete examples and prices through the search tool.
Where you start your charter has a big influence on what you see in a week. In the search, you can filter by base (Split, Trogir, Kaštela, Rogoznica, Šibenik, Zadar, Dubrovnik…) or choose a wider region and stay flexible. If you are not sure, it is enough to choose “Croatia” and let the tool suggest boats from several starting points.
To match the map with your ideas, it helps to read our Croatia destinations overview and specific guides for Split and Dubrovnik. Once you have a feeling for the islands around each base, you can use the search filters to focus on the most practical starting marinas.
Most Croatian charters still follow the Saturday–Saturday rhythm, especially in high season. Our boat search reflects this, so you will usually get the best results if you select full weeks starting on Saturdays. In spring and autumn there is sometimes more flexibility for shorter trips or non-standard arrivals; if you have specific dates, run the search and then ask us to confirm what is realistic.
Prices in the results automatically adjust to the week and season you choose. July and August show peak-season rates; June and September are often a sweet spot between nice weather and slightly lower prices. If your dates are flexible, try running the search for a week earlier or later – you will often see a noticeable difference in cost.
The search tool will not force you into one service level, but it does help to decide early whether you need a skipper or a full crew. Some boats are available bareboat, some require a professional skipper, and others always include crew in the base price.
Select bareboat if you or someone in your group has a recognised licence and wants to handle the boat. You will see the widest range of sailboats and smaller catamarans. Remember that in Croatia you generally need both a skipper licence and a VHF certificate.
For a more relaxed holiday, tick the option to add a skipper or simply mention it in your enquiry. The tool will show the same boats, but we will calculate a total including skipper cost in the final offer. This is a popular solution for first-time charters and for guests who want to learn without carrying full responsibility.
Gulets, luxury catamarans and many motor yachts come with full crew as standard. In the search, their prices typically represent the yacht and crew only; food, drinks, fuel and ports are handled through an APA or package. Our detailed follow-up offers explain this clearly.
The prices you see in the boat search are usually the weekly charter fees for the yacht itself. Depending on the operator, they may already include standard equipment and bed linen, while extras such as final cleaning, outboard engines, tourist tax, skipper and fuel are listed separately in the detailed view.
Do not worry if this feels complicated at first. Use the search mainly to identify which boats fall into your budget range. When you send an enquiry, we prepare a clear cost breakdown with everything grouped logically so you can compare real totals across different yachts and even different types.
Once you have a list of matches, focus on a few key elements rather than drowning in small details. Cabin layout, number of bathrooms, year of build, base marina and overall size are usually more important than whether a boat has one extra gadget.
If you are torn between two or three boats, feel free to send us the names or links. Because we work closely with the fleets, we often know which models age better, which layouts feel cramped in real life and which marinas are easier to use on busy Saturdays. That context is difficult to capture in any automated search.
After exploring for a few minutes, you will usually end up with a small shortlist of boats that look right. The next step is simple: send us your favourites via the enquiry form or email, together with any important notes – children on board, preference for quieter bays, interest in specific islands, or plans to celebrate something special.
We then check live availability, apply any current discounts, confirm what is and is not included in the price and, if needed, suggest one or two alternatives that fit the same brief. You receive a clear, human explanation of the options rather than a long list of similar links.
Even though our boat search is powerful, it is completely fine if you do not want to use it at all. Many guests simply read the main Yacht Charter Croatia and Our Fleet pages, then email us a two-line description of what they have in mind. We run the search on your behalf, combine results from several systems and come back with a clear, personalised shortlist.
If you know which brand you prefer, you can also jump directly to our Search by Brand page and start from there. There is no wrong order – tools and humans work together in the background either way.
No. The search is there to help you explore options, not to lock you into anything. You always confirm the booking with a charter contract sent by email, after all your questions are answered.
Some boats and special offers require manual confirmation from the fleet. In those cases, the search may show an indicative price or “on request”. Send us an enquiry and we will verify the exact rate and conditions with the operator.
Yes. It is often useful to tick catamarans and sailboats together, or motor yachts and power cats, just to understand the price differences. You can always refine the search later when you know which direction feels right.
Try widening the filters – choose a broader region instead of one base, remove strict length limits or adjust dates by a week. If that still does not help, contact us directly. We sometimes have access to boats or cancellations that are not visible in every public search.
The system is synchronised regularly with our partner fleets, but last-minute bookings and technical issues can still happen. That is why we treat the online results as a first step only and always double-check everything manually before you sign anything.
