If you have a web site with customers who might be interested in chartering yachts – sailing boats, gulets, motor yachts, superyachts – just about anywhere in the world, we’d be interested in working with you on an affiliate partnership.

Yachtco Affiliate Program allows you to start making money from yacht charters by simply adding a link from your site to ours.

How does it work?

When a customer clicks on your link on your website (or blog or social media), ends up on our site, and then charters a boat via us, a percentage of the commission is credited to you according to our terms and conditions. Everything is monitored (electronically and offline) and we monitor the lead status for you.

A broker (that is us) earns a fee on the net charter value of a boat booking (not including APA or any additional items or services ordered). This commission depends on the location, boat type, and commissions of the industry. The affiliate (that is you) will gain 20%-25% as a base rate for this fee earned from the broker.

Skippercity is proud to follow up faithfully with all charter customers, and therefore affiliates are compensated by earning 20%-25% of our commission on all bookings of customers returning to us.

Our system tracks customers who have previously enquired from an affiliate or booked from an affiliate, so we can always return commissions to the affiliate. Skippercity will respect the introduction and offer affiliates an introduction fee if the customer returns to Skippercity outside of the affiliate program (i.e. no cookies) to honor the link they have given us as they previously came to us having enquired through an affiliate.

3,000 EUR is the average net charter value to begin receiving your commission. Our terms and conditions apply.

We have ways of inquiry, stylish pictures, and buttons for you. These are all available from your affiliate “dashboard”, so all you need to do is copy and paste the code into your website, and all of you are ready to go!

Your URL for affiliates will be https://www.skippercity.com/?ref=username. You simply install the code (?ref=?ref=username) at the end of any link to Skippercity, and everything is monitored from there!

All content on SkipperCity website is copyrighted. We do not encourage our affiliates to use any content on https://www.skippercity.com and to copy or duplicate the material on their own website as their own in some way. But you are welcome to come up with your own content and link to us.

How we track sales

All clients coming from your site will be “cookied” and your account will be linked to by cookies. When a client sends us an inquiry or creates account with us, we do what we do best – recommend the right boat, arrange the contract and payments, and arrange for the customer to get on board.

If the customer who charters a yacht comes from your website, we will share with you a portion of the commission.

How do you get paid?

We pay our affiliates by bank transfer or via Stripe.

Affiliates will be paid one month after the charter’s satisfactory completion – this is the industry norm for all interested parties. All participants are paid on successful completion of charters because if there are any problems during the charter, we want to ensure that the brokers, the yacht managers, skippers, and the owners resolve them before clients disembark the yacht.

For all canceled charters (by clients or owners), affiliates, travel agents, and all referrals are not regarded any commission.

How to sign up for the affiliate program

You must have an existing website, blog or social network with a client base that is complementary to the yacht charter (travel, luxury products, concierge services, etc.) to apply for the affiliate program.

You do not have any risk or expense for the affiliate program. All you need to do is fill out our online form.
