Before Setting Sail:

1. Submit Crew List and Licenses:

• Ensure a smooth check-in by sending your crew list and sailing/VHF licenses in advance. Your agent will provide the necessary forms.
• At least one crew member needs a valid VHF license for communication at sea.

2. Enhance Your Experience:

• Early Check-in: Request an early check-in at 1 PM if you have an early flight or prefer to start exploring sooner (standard check-in is 5 PM).
• Additional Equipment: Book extra equipment like stand-up paddleboards (SUPs) beforehand to avoid delays.

3. Arriving at the Marina:

• By Car: Check if guarded parking is available at the marina or explore other parking options.
• By Air: Arrange a transfer through your agent or charter company. Taxis and buses are also available from the airport.
• Provisioning: For added convenience, order groceries online for delivery directly to your yacht.

Upon Arrival:

1. Check-in at the Base Office:

• Be on time and bring your:

  • Complete crew list
  • Original skipper and VHF licenses
  • Crew IDs
  • Payment method (cash/credit card)

2. Administrative Tasks:

• Our base staff will:
  
  • Confirm crew information and licenses.
  • Handle tourist tax and equipment fees.
  • Process the security deposit (cash or credit card).
  • Offer deposit insurance (optional).

3. Boat Check-in with Technician:

• Meet the technician onboard with your boat papers.
• Ensure the skipper is present for the walkthrough.
• The technician will:
  
  • Inspect navigation, electrical, and safety equipment.
  • Check sails and essential yacht operation tools.
  • Answer your questions and address any concerns.
• Both parties sign the checklist after completion.
