Port fees and anchorages are to be paid on spot in each port/anchor (in cash), according to actual costs in ports/anchors. The total cost per week depends on the selected itinerary/ports of call. It is not obligatory for the yacht to be in the port each night, it can also be anchored, which lowers the mooring fees (approximate cost is between 1000€ – 1,500 €).
Obligatory extras the charter company adds to every booking, paid before arrival or at the base as marked. They are in the breakdown below, not a surprise at check-in.
Morning Star is a gulet built in 2008 by Custom Made: a M/S Morning Star. At 27 m (89 ft) she sleeps 12 in 6 cabins, with 6 WC. Power comes from 450 HP. Zapadna obala, Split's West Coast, is a public waterfront quay running west from the edge of the old town towards the ACI marina, below the wooded Marjan hill park. Yachts moor right along the city promenade, so Diocletian's Palace, the Riva and plenty of restaurants are about a kilometre's walk away. It is a city quay rather than a full-service marina, so expect few on-site facilities.
Marina information checked Sep 2026.
Master Charter is an independent family business that has been arranging yacht charters since 2006. It has a working office in Split, and the company is registered in nearby Klis. It focuses on crewed charters on gulets, motor yachts, sailing yachts and catamarans. It also arranges charters elsewhere in the Mediterranean and the Caribbean, and offers crew management and yacht services to owners. Staff speak English, German, French and Spanish.
Master Charter runs 12 boats in our catalogue. Morning Star sails from Split, West Coast (Zapadna obala).

The security deposit is a refundable amount the charter company holds during your charter to cover possible damage. You leave it at the base at check-in — usually as a credit-card pre-authorisation or in cash — and it is returned at check-out if the boat comes back undamaged.
Morning Star is a crewed charter — she comes with a professional crew, so you do not need any licence to book her.
The crew's wages are in the charter price, and obligatory extras are listed on this page. Food, drinks, fuel and port fees come on top — on crewed yachts usually through an APA, an advance of 30–40 % of the charter price that the captain spends against receipts and settles with you at the end. The refundable security deposit is separate.
Check-in for Morning Star is from 17:00 on the day your charter starts, and check-out is by 09:00 on the day it ends. The charter company’s rule for this base: “Return on the evening before is desirable!”
Morning Star is owned and operated by Master Charter, an independent charter company with 12 boats in our catalogue. We act as your charter agent: you book and pay through us, and Master Charter hands the boat over at the base.
