Questions about Marlin

How can I cancel my reservation?

Contact our customer service at +386 40 873 520 or via email at info@skippercity.com. We will assist you immediately.

What is the security deposit?

The security deposit is a refundable amount the charter company holds during your charter to cover possible damage. You leave it at the base at check-in — usually as a credit-card pre-authorisation or in cash — and it is returned at check-out if the boat comes back undamaged.

What licences do I need to rent Marlin?

For a bareboat charter you need a skipper licence recognised in Croatia and a VHF radio certificate. The charter company checks both at check-in — there is no licence check when you book online. No licence? Add our skipper in the extras below: priced by the week, plus their food on board.

What additional costs should I expect?

Obligatory extras are listed on this page and are paid before arrival or at the base, as marked. On top of the charter price, budget for mooring fees outside your home marina, fuel and provisioning. The refundable security deposit is separate and is returned after check-out.

When do I check in and check out?

Check-in for Marlin is from 18:00 on the day your charter starts, and check-out is by 09:00 on the day it ends.

Who operates Marlin?

Marlin is owned and operated by Zen Yacht Charter, an independent charter company with 8 boats in our catalogue. We act as your charter agent: you book and pay through us, and Zen Yacht Charter hands the boat over at the base.
