About Marina Kornati
Marina Kornati lines the waterfront of Biograd na Moru, so the town's cafés, shops and beaches are a short stroll from the pontoons. Dating from 1974, it was the first marina built in Croatia and today spreads over three connected basins that host a busy calendar of regattas. The islands of the Zadar archipelago and the Kornati National Park are within easy sailing distance.

How can I cancel my reservation?

What is the security deposit?
The security deposit for Fides is 1.500 €. It is refundable: you leave it at the base at check-in — usually as a credit-card pre-authorisation or in cash — and it is returned at check-out if the boat comes back undamaged.
What licences do I need to rent Fides?
For a bareboat charter you need a skipper licence recognised in Croatia and a VHF radio certificate. The charter company checks both at check-in — there is no licence check when you book online. No licence? Add our skipper in the extras below: priced by the week, plus their food on board.
What additional costs should I expect?
Obligatory extras are listed on this page and are paid before arrival or at the base, as marked. On top of the charter price, budget for mooring fees outside your home marina, fuel and provisioning. The refundable security deposit is separate and is returned after check-out.
What does “per week + food” mean on the crew price?
A crew price such as “1.960 € per week + food” pays for that person’s work for the week; their meals are the guests’ to provide on top. It does not mean food for everyone on board is included. In practice it works one of three ways. The crew member eats on board with you: buy groceries for one extra adult and include them in breakfast, lunch and dinner — six guests plus a skipper means provisioning for seven. The crew member joins you at a restaurant: you cover their meal. The crew member eats separately: agree a meal allowance with the charter company or the skipper beforehand, covering the meals you do not provide. There is no fixed food surcharge unless one has been agreed — with shared meals on board, the cost is simply the extra groceries, and if you go ashore for dinner while the skipper stays on board, leave a suitable meal or arrange an allowance for it. The charter company’s own terms decide what applies; any allowance it states is listed separately in the price breakdown.
When do I check in and check out?
Check-in for Fides is from 17:00 on the day your charter starts, and check-out is by 08:00 on the day it ends. The charter company’s rule for this base: “Obligatory return to base till Friday 18:00 + overnight on board.”
